Many speculations that all artist are the victims of so-called "curse" inside the Far Eastern University. They believe that it was started with Maningning Miclat, an instructor who commited suicide inside the FEU premises, it was reportedly an issue that having sexual relationship with a FEU student and braking up with her afterwards, Miclat is also an artist and made a couple of poems that made an impact to the younger generation. Miclat is a graduate of University of the Philippines.
This time, my friend of mine which is Miclat's niece and works for
FunGuy Studios in Makati few years ago. So I refused to reveal my friend's identity for his/her safety, who has a colleague inside the production house, beside they are in the same school were he graduated, in Asia Pacific College. They both graduated in 2012 and the one took its journey through education or teaching college students, named Nico Dela Cruz, my friend's colleague in FunGuy. Dela Cruz reportedly came from the family of educators, so then, teached Photography class in FEU East Asia College (now FEU Institute of Technology). My friend told me that Dela Cruz has a sense of maniac and flirtation with women, even he is involved with some FHM or Playboy photoshoots and gain his fame. On his
portfolio site, proves that he caters sexy photoshoot. It can be for his own benefit or for his clients. My friend has an experience with Dela Cruz and attempted to rape her. She decided to quit FunGuy and look for another post-production company.

Sometime in 2012, Dela Cruz reportedly made a scandalous act regarding his stand for the better educational system, and was asked for the amendment of FEU's system when it comes to the academic schemes. One of the key people of the said campus named Abigail Alix, she illustrated to my friend how Dela Cruz made an inappropriate way of condemning academic system in FEU East Asia College, Alix and Dela Cruz made a commotion regarding the issue. Eventually, Dela Cruz was kick-out of the University.
Me and my friend tried to ambush interview some of his former students in FEU-EAC informing that their professor is involve with an commotion with the high rank person. One of the students who didn't reveal their identity showed to us about his poor performance in class. And there are some students said that Dela Cruz persecuted his sister's bestfriend inside the classroom (which is also FEU-EAC student), named Josh Fernandez. Dela Cruz has a superstitious sense when it comes to workplace and other work projects, according to my friend.
Another story, Fernandez reportedly bullied by Dela Cruz while having their class and even embarrassed him in front of anybody. One of the witnesses told us that Fernandez turned out to be a filmmaker and having several projects involving mainstream opportunities, there was a speculation that Dela Cruz is insecure with Fernandez. Some of students under Dela Cruz helped Fernandez to reach out for the administration to report the incident. At the end of semester, Fernandez bade a farewell to his colleagues in EAC and informed them to leave EAC so that he can recover from the pain he received from the controversial instructor. Several months ago, they find out that Fernandez moved to CIIT College of Arts and Technology to continue his degree in Digital Arts.
Another untold story that Dela Cruz revealed a made-up icluding Fernandez allegedly fought with fellow artist and EAC's head photographer for "The Innovator" Kevin Tamasiro, Dela Cruz told his students about Fernandez and Tamasiro, saying that Tamasiro did not agree with Fernandez's paradigm ideology for "lifting young filmmaker's guild in the 21st Century". So they said that Fernandez persecuted Tamasiro because of his stand for "taking for granted". The story didn't circulate the buzz to the whole campus, two of them are known for their talents. And the students of Dela Cruz told us that Fernandez never met Tamasiro and he is nothing to do with filmmaking because he was a professional photographer, thus, the story is false. According to
Tamasiro's website, he is now in De La Salle University - College of St. Benilde, but the whole story is still questionable among FEU community.
Liar Liar!
Last month, we conducted experimental question on his
Ask.fm account after we stumble on his website and having a research for his true identity. We asked him about his so-called "exit" on EAC.

"Nahirapan kasi ako sa schedule. pang gabi ako sa main job ko tapos pang umaga ako sa EAC so parang bugbog katawan ko non. said Dela Cruz.
We didn't expect that there are follow-up question linking to the previous one. Obviously, he refused to answer it directly.
The curse of history repeats itself?
There are speculation that the issue of students and instructors inside EAC is merely part of Miclat's curse, it can't find out on how they can broke that. Josh Fernandez allegedly persecuted Kevin Tamasiro, so Tamasiro left the university. Nico Dela Cruz persecuted Josh Fernandez, so Fernandez left also. Same with Dela Cruz, he was kicked out by Abigail Alix. Too strange and creepy on this issue? Who is next after Alix? We can't provide information about the person in the "curse" umbrella before Tamasiro. It might be all of them are victims of the curse, since then, the rest is history.
Aftermath
Miclat, which died on September 29, 2000 by jumping on a seventh floor of Nursing Building in Far Eastern University Main Campus. Her family decided to establish a foundation that honors Miclat and her artworks.
Tamasiro became a present contributor for Benildean Press Corps in College of St. Benilde, and reportedly his first work involved in an international book called Culture Fusion in 2011. he received several awards in any photography contest local and abroad.
Fernandez, who is a founder of a student organization 24 Frames for CIIT College of Arts and Technology and pioneered Jeepney Story Proudctions, according on his own
website. He would later leave Manila for other commitments and to produce high-budget production abroad.
Dela Cruz reportedly teaching photography on his alma mater Asia Pacific College, he is no longer with FunGuy Studios due to its poor performance. Dela Cruz also formed a band to do some gig in the future.
Lastly, Alix remained as an Arts & IT Department head of FEU Institute of Technology.
Conclusion
Base on our research and different tesimonies about the mentioned names, he/she should be the best role model in the universities, there are many instructors who did the same thing. The cause of these behavior is insecurity, Filipino is now natural with "crab mentality", have you notice that?
You can pursue your profession by not having insecurity with your colleagues, it might end up with nothing. Just mind your own business and focus on your goals, all of us should strive for success.
